What is 4-HO-EPT?
4-HO-EPT is short for 4-Hydroxy-N-ethyl-N-propyltryptamine, is the 4-hydroxy version of EPT. This chemical is relatively obscure and falls into the tryptamine chemical class. It is very similar in nature to psilocin, the chemical in magic mushrooms that gives them their psychedelic properties. There is very little experimental data regarding 4-HO-EPT due to the fact that it has only been available on the research market since around 2016. However, preliminary experiments have shown that 4-HO-EPT has findings of conceptual thinking, cognitive euphoria, emotion enhancement, ego death, personal bias suppression, time distortion, thought loops, interconnectedness sensations, and hallucinations. This means that 4-HO-EPT experiments have produced results that are very similar to psilocin experiments.
